Recent rumors suggest that Nottingham Foreshttps://thesoccerstand.comt have reignited their interest in Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares. Tavares now plays for Arsenal.

Earlier in the summer transfer season, the club managed by Steve Cooper had expressed interest in making a deal to capture the Portugal Under-21s international player, but negotiations eventually broke down.

Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg are two other clubs that have shown interest in Tavares’ football services.

London is aware of the situation, but the player has expressed a desire to remain in England so that he can continue to compete in the Premier League.

Aston Villa has also been mentioned as a possible destination for the player who formerly played for Benfica; nevertheless, the Daily Mail has recently stated that a deal may once again be possible.

According to their report, Forest are reportedly optimistic about signing the versatile fullback on loan with an option to buy in the following summer.

It is a bonus for Mikel Arteta since Tavares, who is valued at €30million (£25.7million) by CIES Football Observatory, has not been included in any of the Gunners’ matchday squads for the Premier League this season, indicating that the Spaniard does not have him in his plans.

The 23-year-old had a productive loan stint in Ligue 1 with Marseille, where he played for the club’s reserve team last season.

During the previous academic year, he responded to questions regarding his future by telling The Metro, “I’m good here [at Marseille]. The fact that I am enjoying my time here is reflected in how well I compete.

On top of that, Marseille has a lot of the same characteristics as Lisbon, including the streets, the city, the weather, and the sun. I am not pondering what might happen in the future.

“I try to live in the here and now, taking each day as it comes. I don’t even want to think about it [my future], I’m just going to focus on the here and now.”
