Arsenal ‘joins the race’ to sign excellent Bukayo Saka backup amid Cazorla transfer affirmation
According to recent reports, Arsenal has joined the race to recruit Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze.
According to Calciomercato, Arsenal are’ready’ to compete with Liverpool, Real Madrid, Aston Villa, AC Milan, and West Ham United for Chukwueze’s signature during the summer transfer window.
CIES Football Observatory values the Nigerian international at €60 million (£51 million). It is rumored that Milan are presently in the lead in their pursuit of the player.
According to transfermarkt, the 24-year-old scored 13 goals and dished out 11 assists across all competitions last season.
The gifted wideout’s ability in the final third is far greater than his statistics indicate, as he is renowned for his elite one-on-one ability.
Santi Cazorla, who played with Chukwueze at Villarreal, has acknowledged in the past that he had received calls from friends at the north London club regarding the talented attacker.
Cazorla responded, “Yes, especially from Arsenal friends,” when asked if he received numerous phone calls from England regarding Chukwueze and teammate Pau Torres.
“They inquire about them and believe they can join the Premier League tomorrow.” It’s wonderful that great teams are interested in Villarreal’s young players, but for the time being they should leave them alone.”
Chukwueze, like Arsenal’s budding sensation Bukayo Saka, is left-footed and operates primarily on the right wing. He has previously expressed his adoration for Dutch legend Arjen Robben, who is renowned for cutting in with his left foot from the right.
Speaking of Robben in 2019, the nimble youngster told Goal, “He’s the king, in my opinion.” He is the ideal competitor. I view so many YouTube videos of him, and I can learn so much by observing him.
“Even now, on the way to games, I continue to observe Robben’s goals and dribbling on Robben video clips. My inspiration and one of the finest, he is. I enjoy being myself, and you must also be yourself, but you must learn from individuals like him. What a stud!”
