Arsenal midfielder among seven missing Arsenal players from US pre-season tour
Thomas Partey is one of seven Arsenal players who did not accompany the team on their pre-season tour of the United States. This tour is being held in preparation for the next season.

The 30-year-old player, who now plays for Arsenal, has been linked with a move away from the club during the upcoming summer due to interest from numerous Saudi Pro League clubs as well as Juventus.
Partey played for Arsenal in their preseason friendly match against Nurnberg on Thursday, but he was not there when the team boarded their trip to the United States on Sunday.
Although Arsenal have not provided an explanation for Partey’s absence, they have stated that they anticipate Emile Smith Rowe and Thomas Partey will join them the following week.
After playing for England in their triumphant campaign at the Under-21 European Championship this summer, Smith Rowe has been given permission to take a longer sabbatical from the sport.
Nicolas Pepe, Cedric Soares, and Albert Sambi Lokonga, all of whom left Arsenal on loan during the previous season, have all remained with the club and will continue to practice separately from the first-team squad.
Nuno Tavares, who was on loan at Marseille during the previous campaign, has also chosen to remain with the club and is not considered to be a part of Mikel Arteta’s plans.
In addition to the other players who have not made the trip to the United States owing to injuries, Reiss Nelson, who only this month agreed to a new extended contract with Arsenal, is one of those players.
The record-breaking signing for Arsenal at £105 million On Sunday afternoon, 27 players boarded the flight that was departing from London Stansted. Declan Rice was one of those players.
In addition, Jurrien Timber, whose departure from Ajax for $40 million was finalized on Friday, is a member of the traveling squad.
On July 19, Arsenal will kick off their tour of the United States with a match against an MLS All-Stars team that will be led by Wayne Rooney in Washington, District of Columbia.
The next week, on July 22, Mikel Arteta’s squad will travel to New Jersey to take on Manchester United.
The match versus Barcelona in Los Angeles on July 26 will serve as Arsenal’s final contest of the trip.
