Arsenal transfer gossip eventually comes to an end as unjustifiable $111m transfer conclusion ‘rejected’
Arsenal is once again mentioned in the same sentence as Mykhailo Mudryk. Who would have imagined?
In January, the Ukraine international rejected the Gunners in favor of an £88.5 million ($111 million) transfer to Chelsea. Everyone in the football community is aware that Mudryk has struggled to make an impact in England.

The winger has delivered no goals and only two assists at Stamford Bridge, prompting many to question his transfer. However, if rumors are true, Chelsea is already attempting to transfer him in order to sign Emile Smith Rowe.
The Blues have expressed interest in Hale Ender this summer, with Mauricio Pochettino still seeking an attacker capable of playing on the right flank and in the center behind the striker. Smith Rowe has yet to play a single minute in the Premier League this season, and his future is uncertain due to Mikel Arteta’s decision to start Fabio Vieira over him against Fulham.

Arsenal reportedly declined any possibility of Mudryk being traded for Smith Rowe immediately, leaving Chelsea with less than three days to submit a new offer before Friday’s deadline.
Allowing a talented player like Smith Rowe to join their London rivals is terrible enough, according to football.london. But allowing him to depart and replacing him with Mudryk would be one of the most bizarre transfer deals in recent memory.
Arsenal would be hard-pressed to even consider Chelsea’s offer for Smith Rowe. In truth, Mudryk’s performances in the Premier League during his first eight months in the country have likely proven that Arsenal were correct not to match Chelsea’s £88.5 million bid.
This transaction would be inexcusable for Arsenal. Not smart business to trade a player with a strong connection to the club for a player who desired a move to the blue side of London. Chelsea must perform better.
Folarin Balogun, a graduate of Hale End, will depart Arsenal this summer. According to reports, the striker has consented to join AS Monaco after months of speculation regarding his future.
Balogun returned to London Colney with aspirations of making the Gunners’ first squad after a stellar season with Stade Reims. However, this has not been the case, and he is not on track to depart permanently.
According to Fabrizio Romano, USMNT star Leon Balogun was in Monaco on Tuesday for medical examinations prior to his return to France, for which Monaco will pay €40 million (£34.3 million).
The transfer saga that has dominated headlines all summer is nearing its conclusion.
It has taken some time, but Balogun is now on the verge of being given a chance to prove his worth. Arsenal will be pleased to inherit their club-record transfer fee for a player, but they may come to regret the transaction in the future.
I continue to believe that the Gunners have squandered a significant opportunity by not incorporating Balogun into their squad to provide a unique attacking threat. Gabriel Jesus’ preseason injury should have been an opportunity for the 22-year-old, but fate had other plans, and he will now compete for the Ligue 1 title with PSG.
Arsenal is running out of time to acquire Balogun with their windfall. However, Arteta’s decision appears to have been made for some time, and one would hope that a plan has been in place for this result.
