If recent events are any indication, Manchester United’s third signing of the summer season could be on the verge of being finalized in the near future.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s report, Rasmus Hojlund’s Atalanta have reached an agreement with Almeria for the transfer of El B.

The Malian striker will transfer to the Serie A team for a club-record sum, which has led to accusations that the club has already spent a portion of Hojlund’s incoming fee on his replacement. The deal would set a new club record.
According to a recent article from The People’s Person, Atalanta’s first aim in their search to replace Hojlund was Bilal Toure.

The rapidity with which the transaction was completed may indicate that they are self-assured about their ability to reach an agreement with United regarding Hojlund.
It was recently reported that the club managed by Erik ten Hag is preparing the first official proposal for the Danish striker, who they have prioritized despite recent developments about Harry Kane’s future.
The possibility of a transaction became more plausible once Atalanta lowered their initial asking price, which had been close to €100 million.
As a result, now that the club has completed the transaction for Andre Onana, Hojlund has emerged as the key priority for the organization.
According to reports, the head coach of the Bergamo team, Gian Piero Gasperini, intended to have an answer about the future of his striking prodigy by the end of the month of July.
Ten Hag has also emphasized the necessity for new signings to participate in the preseason games as much as they are able to on multiple occasions.
