Since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers in July 2017 from FC Porto, Ruben Neves’s performance has steadily improved.

The Portuguese international is one of the finest holding midfielders in the Premier League and a pivotal figure for the Black Country club.

Following Conor Coady’s loan transfer to Everton, he has served as the club’s captain this year.

The 26-year-old has appeared over 250 times for the Premier League club, scoring 30 goals and assisting on 13 others.

Neves will undoubtedly leave Wolverhampton Wanderers during the summer transfer window. A circumstance of this nature has attracted the attention of several prominent clubs, including Barcelona.

Neves has been a longtime target for Barcelona. However, the Catalan powers have not pursued the Wolverhampton Wanderers captain for several reasons.
