Barcelona kidnap

Tudor Mendel-Idowu’s transfer was reported earlier this week after it was reported that he had already joined Barcelona’s academy in Spain after his contract with Chelsea expired.

There is already controversy surrounding the 18-year-old, as clubs from across Europe investigate a potential transfer.

Chelsea failed to sign him to a new long-term contract prior to its expiration on 30 June, and it was written that he would join Barcelona. Nonetheless, Fabrizio Romano has updated information on the situation.

He writes that Anderlecht are attempting to thwart Barcelona’s pursuit of erstwhile Chelsea talent Tudor Mendel. Barça has verbally promised to sign Mendel as a free agent for the U21 team, but Anderlecht is making a last-ditch effort to sign him.

Chelsea, who can do little to stop it at this point, will observe with fascination where their Cobham talent goes next.

This could be one of those acts that the Blues will regret in the future, according to football.london. Who among you has heard of Declan Rice? Even though it’s a different type of departure, it still hurts to see youthful players leave and succeed elsewhere.

In contrast to Rice, whom Chelsea released, Mendel-Idowu was viewed as a player the club was eager to retain. In the past year, they have also acquired four left-footed right wingers, which has only served to increase his long-term competition.

Noni Madueke and Angelo Gabriel were acquired by Chelsea for a fee, whereas Omari Hutchinson and Diego Moreira moved for nothing.

Mendel-Idowu, a product of the academy system, is a long way down the pecking order, and his decision to pursue other options has already been validated by Hutchinson’s departure after just one year on loan for first team action.

Mendel-Idowu is the youngest of the group, and many will preach patience, but the path to the senior team is hardly obvious, and he has more attractive options elsewhere; who can blame him? Now the question is where he genuinely sees his short-term future lying.

Can he develop into the next Lionel Messi at Barcelona, a tricky right winger with a dazzling left foot, or will he travel to Belgium for immediate first-team action? In either case, we fully anticipate his success.

Kylian Mbappe drama

The decision to sell Kylian Mbappe this summer was made by Paris Saint-Germain after the forward made it obvious that he would not remain with the club beyond the expiration of his contract in 2024.

Mbappe informed PSG earlier this year that he would not be re-signing, putting the French champions in a difficult position. They are determined not to lose him for nothing in 12 months, but Mbappe is not actively seeking a transfer.

However, ahead of Luis Enrique’s first preseason, PSG has omitted their 24-year-old star from the Japan tour squad. He is now available for approximately £160 million ($205 million).

In addition to the expected links to Real Madrid, it is rumored that multiple Premier League clubs will attempt to acquire him despite the enormous fees involved.

According to GFFN, the Blues are evaluating the possibility of bringing him to Stamford Bridge, but are cognizant of the enormous wage and up-front cost implications.

football.london exclaims, “Oh, the drama continues, and we love it!” Everyone does. Mbappe is the news, PSG, and France, respectively. What he says is law; his universe is the one we all inhabit. Who could argue?

This 24-year-old sensation is the third most influential person in France. He is a two-time recipient of the World Cup golden boot, a world champion, and a finalist in both competitions. Literally every football fan, owner, institution, and affiliated being on the planet is captivated by him.

Teams would go bankrupt to have a photograph of him clutching their shirt. Unsurprisingly, Chelsea are among those willing to consider shattering any wage structure in order to consider what it would take to acquire him.

Mbappe is the subject of this discussion, despite the likelihood that even the great, immortal, and world-conquering Mbappe would fail at Stamford Bridge, with 13 goals in two years and an interview with L’Equipe expressing his desire to abandon Pochettino once more.

Regarding such transactions, it is nearly impossible to think clearly. Because these opportunities do not arise frequently, logic goes out the window. Chelsea will not recruit Mbappe, so there is no point in considering the possibility.

If Mbappe is even considered, the eight-month-long effort to assemble a youthful, hungry team, including the summer purge of stars from a bloated group, wage-cutting, and pursuit of wholesomeness, will be completely undone.

Permit it to consume you momentarily, and then move on; he is someone else’s problem. Mbappe will undoubtedly become a concern at some point, and a very expensive one at that.
