In an exclusive interview with thesoccerstand, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed why Chelsea’s move for Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is ‘absolutely impossible’ Chelsea are aiming to sign Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala this summer, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed why the Blues’ move for the German is ‘absolutely impossible’.

Despite agreeing to a deal that could reach £45 million for Cole Palmer with Manchester City, Mauricio Pochettino is still seeking to bolster his forward depth.

Described as a “sensation” by the official Bundesliga website, former Blues star Musiala could experience a sensational homecoming if he decides to return to his former club before the transfer deadline.

The Germany international’s move from Cobham to Bavaria in 2019 ultimately proved to be one of Chelsea’s greatest transfer mistakes in recent memory.

TheSecretScout claims that while Chelsea have a lengthy list of attacking reinforcements on their radar, Pochettino and company would ‘love’ to bring Musiala back to the club where he spent the majority of his formative years.

Bayern’s promising youngster tallied 16 goals and 16 assists in all competitions last season.

Given his tender age and impressive play, Thomas Tuchel would be understandably hesitant to let him leave. Musiala, who is only 20 years old, has become one of the league’s brightest talents and hopes to continue to shine for his current employers.

However, the Stamford Bridge faithful will be listening closely, as the star previously told L’Equipe that he felt “joy” while playing for the west Londoners.

Now, Romano has updated GIVEMESPORT on Chelsea’s pursuit of the youthful midfielder.

What did Fabrizio Romano say about Jamal Musiala and Chelsea?

In an update on the 20-year-old, the transfer expert stated that Chelsea’s pursuit of Raphinha is ‘absolutely impossible’ and that he is oblivious of any discussions between Barcelona and the Brazilian.

In an exclusive interview with GIVEMESPORT, he stated, “For the other names, I am unaware of any current negotiations between Chelsea and Barcelona for Raphinha.

Then, let’s see if they decide to do it at the end of the window, but given that they are not currently negotiating for Raphinha and Jamal Musiala, I believe it is unthinkable.

I believe it is unthinkable for Bayern Munich to sell Musiala with only two days remaining in the transfer window.

Sky Sports correspondent Dharmesh Sheth recently told GIVEMESPORT that despite Musiala’s apparent inaccessibility due to a number of factors, the west London club are still on the lookout for a new forward prior to Friday’s deadline.

Even though the club has spent a staggering £359 million on new players, the journalist insists that Raphinha and Ferran Torres are on their wish list.

This corroborates the MailOnline report that mentioned the Barcelona tandem along with Arsenal’s Emile Smith-Rowe, though Chelsea’s initial approach for the latter player was reportedly rejected by Arsenal, as reported by the Metro.

The Englishman is not at the forefront of Mikel Arteta’s plans at the Emirates and may seek to make a move this summer, though he may not find much playing time at Stamford Bridge.
