Chelsea news: Striker ready for summer transfer exit as Moises Caicedo boost acquired

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has decided to leave the club and transfer.

After spending only one year with the club, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to finalizing a transfer to Marseille, which would result in his departure from Chelsea. According to Fabrizio Romano, who has reported that the striker is prepared to sign a three-year contract with the French club in order to secure a trade, this is the case.

The Blues are willing to save some money on salary by allowing the international player from Gabon to leave on a free transfer in order to finalize the departure of yet another player.

Increase in Moises Caicedo’s transfer value

It has been reported that the agents of Brighton star Moises Caicedo are continuing to lobby for a transfer to Chelsea this summer, as the player is getting closer and closer to making a move during the current transfer window.

Caicedo has reportedly been one of the Blues’ top targets, but the club was unable to sign the kid during the transfer window in January, according to football.london’s sources.

The younger player, who is 21 years old and now plays in the deeper midfield role for the Seagulls, has excelled in his brief time with the club, delivering plenty both on the ball and off of it.

The replacement for Wesley Fofana

As a result of the news that Wesley Fofana is dealing with a major injury, it has been reported that Chelsea is “strongly considering” making a move during the summer transfer window to replace Fofana.

Tuesday was the day that football.london broke the news that the French international had ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and would require surgery to fix the significant knee injury.

This was later confirmed by the club themselves in a statement, in which they announced that the center-back had successfully recovered from surgery to rebuild the anterior cruciate ligament.
