Edu already understands Arsenal’s next two transfer agreements after £100m Declan Rice’s move
Recent reports indicate that Arsenal are close to signing West Ham United captain Declan Rice for more than £100 million.
The Guardian reports that despite the fact that the Gunners have not yet submitted a bid, negotiations between the two London clubs have been proceeding smoothly amid optimism that an agreement will soon be reached.
According to the claim, Mikel Arteta’s team is also contemplating a bid for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, while the Spaniard is also attempting to sign Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan.

During the January transfer window, Arteta attempted to sign Caicedo from Brighton, but the Seagulls were reticent to sell, rejecting two bids from the north London club before Caicedo signed a new long-term contract at the Amex Stadium.
However, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has since acknowledged that the 21-year-old has likely played his final game for the south coast club, anticipating that the talented midfielder will depart this summer.
Last month, when De Zerbi was asked about Caicedo and teammate Alexis Mac Allister’s futures, he stated, “They deserve to change level of team and competition, and we must be happy for them.”
“We are Brighton, and our policy is to promote the development of young players; we cannot retain our best players.”
Indeed, this is our mentality, and we must discover more young players. Also linked with a move for Caicedo and football is Chelsea. The Blues are expected to pursue a move to acquire the versatile youngster this summer, according to reports in London.
The aforementioned Gundogan is currently in the final three weeks of his City contract. This indicates that he would be available on a free transfer if he has not signed a new contract with the Etihad Stadium before then.
Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and a number of Saudi clubs are also rumored to be interested in the 32-year-old German international, while Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made no secret of his desire for the veteran midfielder to remain in the Premier League.
Guardiola stated about Gundogan at a press conference earlier this month, via Hayters TV, “He knows what I believe. We reside on the same floor as each other and are therefore neighbors. He has been my close companion for many years.
“As a performer, he is extraordinary. Hopefully, we can conclude in a positive manner.
Txiki [Begiristain, City’s director of football] is working, and ideally we can pull it off, because he has done an exceptional job this season.
“Remember the two goals that he scored against Aston Villa. This season, he has scored numerous goals of significance.
