Fabrizio Romano affirms player is ‘100% remaining’ at Stamford bridge this summer
Fabrizio Romano has provided Chelsea supporters with some encouraging information this afternoon, which has otherwise been marked by a string of unfavorable announcements.
After undergoing surgery today to repair an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), fans of the Blues have discovered that their team will be without their vital center back Wesley Fofana for a significant amount of time.

This is obviously terrible news for everyone involved at Chelsea, and it is also bad news for Wesley. We hope that he will make a full recovery in a timely manner.
Even though it seems harsh to phrase it that way, it could be excellent news for one of the other center backs. On the other hand, this will indicate that there should be more opportunities for game time for Levi Colwill, and Fabrizio Romano shared some wonderful news about him this afternoon.
Chelsea position on Levi Colwill was the same during the last two months: not for sale. Not available for any other club. ⛔️

After Fofana injury, the message from Chelsea is exactly the same and even stronger. He’s 100% staying. 🔵

Obviously, we have been hearing all kinds of rumors about Colwill possibly leaving Chelsea this summer, but according to the tweet that was sent below, Romano states that he is “100% staying” at Chelsea!
This is, quite clearly, music to our ears, and let’s hope that we can have a new contract signed with him as soon as possible!
