This summer, Arsenal star Reiss Nelson will become a free agent, and Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on his situation.

This season, the 23-year-old Englishman has been somewhat of a darling for Arsenal supporters. Almost every time he has come off the bench, he has performed admirably, which has increased his stock.

Now that the summer transfer window is approaching, Nelson could become a sought-after player.
Fabrizio Romano reports that eight clubs are negotiating with Arsenal to recruit Reiss. Nelson Reiss Nelson has been a member of Arsenal since his youth.

The talented winger was always regarded as one of the most exciting young athletes in the country. Everyone expected him to become a top player, but after making his senior debut, he appeared to have lost some confidence in himself.

However, under Mikel Arteta this season, Nelson is proving his worth, and despite not being the club’s first-choice player, he has been a quality substitute.

These performances have made Nelson a sought-after player ahead of the summer transfer window, with Fabrizio Romano divulging that as many as eight English and foreign clubs are in negotiations with his agent.

On House Of Champions: A CBS Soccer Podcast, the journalist stated, “It is true that Milan is among the clubs interested in Reiss Nelson. Not only Milan, but roughly seven or eight clubs have approached the player’s agents.

“There are numerous opportunities – in England, the Eredivisie, Serie A, and other leagues, clubs are approaching the player because he is available on a free transfer.

“Reiss Nelson is considering this, but Arsenal has also offered to extend his contract. Therefore, it is uncertain whether he will depart Arsenal on a free transfer. Therefore, everything is accessible.”
Arsenal is correct to offer Reiss Nelson a contract extension.

This season, the 23-year-old has demonstrated his ability to perform at the highest level. He is still young, incredibly quick, and a perfect match for Arteta’s system.

Nelson may only want to quit Arsenal to become a regular starter elsewhere. Gunners fans cannot fault him for this, but he is a true Gooner, so there is still hope that he will sign a new contract.

Two months ago, Arteta described Nelson as a’really essential’ squad member. This could be decisive in the upcoming weeks.
