Fabrizio Romano’s clarification on a 20 year-old star’s destiny amid Man United attraction
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has indicated that it will take a massive offer to pry Benjamin Sesko away from Bundesliga champions RB Leipzig before he has even played for the club.
This follows reports that Manchester United is interested in signing Sesko.
The Red Devils continue to hold the 20-year-old in high regard.

The People’s Person reported in April that United have Sesko on their list of potential striker targets should they fail to recruit Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen.
Within the confines of Old Trafford, the Slovenian is regarded as the ideal project striker – a player with immense potential who can be nurtured to become world-class.
Several months ago, TEAMtalk reported that Erik ten Hag’s squad was interested in interfering with Sesko’s transfer from RB Salzburg to RB Leipzig.
Romano notes, however, that it will be virtually impossible to convince Leipzig to sell the goal scorer now that the transaction has been finalized.
“Many inquiries regarding Benjamin eko in the strikers domino… “However, it’s impossible,” he tweeted.
“eko recently joined RB Leipzig from Salzburg and has no intention of leaving the club; only an astronomical offer could change his mind.”
“No discussions, no negotiations. No chance.”
It is clear to see why top teams are interested in the young star, who has previously been compared to Erling Haaland of Manchester City.
Last year in the Austrian Bundesliga, Sesko scored 16 goals and dished out three assists in 30 matches.
During a time when elite clubs in Europe are willing to spend large sums to acquire the services of the sport’s most promising prospects, the Radece-born hero is unquestionably in this category.
United are unlikely to spend heavily on transfers this summer due to Ten Hag’s limited transfer budget. The current state of affairs may necessitate delaying a Sesko capture.
