Gary Neville showers compliment on Man United striker after the £72m superstar made his debut in defeat to Arsenal
Gary Neville praised Rasmus Hojlund after he made his Manchester debut in Sunday’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal.
Erik ten Hag’s squad suffered their second loss of the season when Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus scored late-game goals for Arsenal.
After previously being ruled out due to injury following his £72 million transfer to United, Hojlund made his debut by replacing Anthony Martial in the second half.

The Danish forward showed flashes of his talent at the Emirates Stadium, and Neville believes he could be the answer to United’s lengthy quest for a prolific forward.
Speaking on Sky Sports, the former defender stated, “Manchester United have never had a goal-scoring striker.”
This is the problem.Cristiano Ronaldo was not a classic target man, and neither are Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
At least they appear to have someone who will annoy people and get his body inside. He is both combative and a runner.
The issue with him is that he is still learning the game. We expect him to be Erling Haaland despite the fact that he’s only played professional football for a few years. That is the issue.
Manchester United have no other experienced players to back him up. Martial has been observed at Manchester United for nine to ten years, and he is not what Erik ten Hag desires.

This kid has a lot of burden on him and a high price tag, but his debut was encouraging.’
United manager Ten Hag believed his team should have been granted a penalty after Hojlund was brought down inside the penalty area by Gabriel.
He stated, “The performance is adequate; we played well, but everything went against us.” Consequently, you lose the contest.
“You saw the game, it’s not offside, that’s the wrong angle, then a penalty on Hojlund, we concede a goal, and this is a foul on Jonny Evans,” the commentator said.
Marcus Rashford’s opening goal was cancelled out by Martin Odegaard, before Arsenal’s record signing Rice scored the game-winning goal in the 96th minute. Shortly thereafter, Gabriel Jesus scored upon his return from injury.
