As the conclusion of Moises Caicedo’s protracted transfer nears, it appears that a decision has also been made regarding Romeo Lavia.

Is it necessary for Chelsea to acquire both Lavia and Caicedo? Probably not at this time. However, this is yet another indication of the financial strength Boehly and company have brought to the table.
Lavia will undoubtedly prove to be an excellent addition. Young and talented, there is a reason why elite organizations have pursued him for so long.
The concern for Chelsea now is whether or not players will be sold. Connor Gallagher and others will undoubtedly be pondering if they will be transferred.
