According to Rodri, another member of Manchester City’s squad, Erling Haaland has demonstrated that he is capable of much more than just scoring a lot of goals.

In his first season in the Premier League, Haaland has caused a sensation by scoring 36 goals (and a total of 52 goals across all competitions), which has contributed to the championship defense of Pep Guardiola’s team.

But the midfielder Rodri believes that there is more to Haaland’s game than just finding the back of the net, and he lauded the way that the 22-year-old striker has developed over the course of the season.

“He’s been incredible for us this season,” Rodri remarked about the player. “Not only due to the fact that he has been scoring goals, but also due to the fact that he wants to learn and get better and integrate himself into the team.

“When I first saw him play at the beginning of the season, he had a very different style than the one he’s using today.

He has a wide range of skills, including the ability to drop the ball, play one touch, hold possession of the ball, turn, and score.

“He’s still so young, yet he already has the drive to keep getting better. Because he is so helpful to the group and because he gives his all to it, he is deserving of everything.
