Man Utd superstar’s message; ‘we deserve top-four finish’ , after proving doubters wrong
Bruno Fernandes is adamant that Manchester United deserves a place in the top four this season, having silenced their critics early in the campaign.

WHAT OCCURRED?
The Portuguese playmaker, who has been United’s stand-in captain for the majority of the season, disagrees with the notion that Erik ten Hag’s players are suffering from exhaustion and believes they can finish in the top four.
United’s attempt to qualify for the Champions League has faltered in the past week, with 1-0 losses at Brighton and West Ham giving Liverpool hope of catching them.
HOW they put it:
“This club must be in that position,” Fernandes told Sky Sports. And I believe that these athletes also deserve to be there. No one believed United could contend for a top-four finish this season, but the squad has performed admirably.
No one predicted at the outset of the season that our team would finish in the top six. We knew that we could have climbed even higher. This club will shortly be competing for even greater honors.”
Regarding fatigue concerns, he added, “Tiredness is always present. This is normal, but our club wants to play as many games as possible in order to be able to win trophies and reach the finals. You must discover a means of resting whenever possible.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE:
United’s fourth-place position is under duress as a result of dropped points in recent games and Liverpool’s pristine form. They have a one-point lead over Jurgen Klopp’s squad, but they have a game in hand.
United will host Wolves at Old Trafford on Saturday, hoping to experience some home comforts and earn three crucial points. On June 3, Fernandes and company will compete against Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
