According to sources, prospective buyer Sheikh Jassim is now concerned that the Glazers will not sell Manchester United despite the fact that negotiations have been going on for months.

The Glazer family, who owns Manchester United, is currently considering competing bids for the club from a Qatari banker named Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who established the chemical company INEOS.

The Glazers initially gave indications that they would sell by beginning a strategic review back in November of last year, but the process of receiving bids has been drawn out.

Sheikh Jassim’s offer, which is for one hundred percent of the club, is reportedly the one that has the best chance of being approved, according to reports that have surfaced in the past month or so. Despite the fact that the summer transfer window is still open for quite some time, sources close to the Qatari proposal have stated that they are anxious to finalize the transaction.

However, a takeover before the end of the transfer window appears to be nearly unattainable due to stories that cast doubt on the Glazers’ intention to sell the club at any point in the future.

Sheikh Jassim, according to the Manchester Evening News, “is still awaiting a response from the Glazer family to his submission to buy” the Premier League team. According to the newspaper’s sources, there is now “real concern” that the American owners have no intention of selling the club.
Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, whose team won 1-0 over Wolves the previous weekend, has done his utmost to maintain his impartial stance about any potential takeover while continuing to concentrate on his squad.

When asked about the takeover scenario at the end of July, Ten Hag responded, “I focus on my job, and that is to improve the team.”

“I am responsible for doing my part to sign the players, and I am also responsible for working on the style of play. That is the area that I concentrate on.

“That’s what I’ve done in order to ensure that I don’t let any part of the strategy review distract me. This is something that will be dealt with by other members of the club.

“The information line that we have is quite reliable. We are disseminating the information to ensure that I am aware of my location and able to concentrate on my work.

“The majority of the time, (the information) is going over Richard Arnold, who is the chief executive, or John Murtough, who is the football director. But there are also instances when we communicate directly with one another, as you may have noticed in New York.
