Man Utd takeover: Sheikh Jassim’s inner process disclosed as ‘management team’ formed
Sheikh Jassim is rumored to have assembled a’management team’ in the event that he is able to purchase Manchester United. The Qatari magnate refuses to concede defeat in his battle with Sir Jim Ratcliffe for control of a company.
And it is conceivable he will put his faith in those who attended Old Trafford talks if he succeeds in ousting the Glazers and seizing control of the club…
In March, a delegation representing Sheikh Jassim traveled to Manchester for discussions regarding a possible takeover.
And with ESPN reporting that the Qatari billionaire has assembled a strike force, it is conceivable that the same individuals will be involved in the operation in the future.
Shazhad Shahbaz, president of the Nine Two Foundation, led the delegation that traveled to Manchester.
He has previous exposure in international banking, investments, and capital markets and is described as a “serious player.”
In addition, he spent 25 years at the Bank of America.
And if Sheikh Jassim prevails against Ratcliffe, it is conceivable that Shahbaz will be tasked with expanding United’s brand even further.
Fady Bathos, advisor to the enigmatic figure, was also present.
Sam Powers and Yasir Shah of Bank of America also made the trek in search of productive discussions with the club.
Ratcliffe appears to be in the lead to purchase Manchester United, with the INEOS CEO eager to own a Premier League team after missing out on Chelsea.
There are rumors that Sheikh Jassim may still make a fifth offer for the club, but he is determined to outbid his rival.
Avram Glazer was asked for an update on the United acquisition process following Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
Nonetheless, the American disregarded inquiries and strolled away without elaborating on the situation.
United has a lot of work to do if they want to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League championship.
And the Glazers’ wrath will likely increase if their rivals achieve the predicted treble by defeating Inter Milan in Saturday’s Champions League final.
Since 2005, United has been owned by the United States.
However, while Sir Alex Ferguson initially kept the trophies flowing, the club has regressed alarmingly in the ten years since his retirement.
After United’s weekend loss to City, Ten Hag was also questioned about a prospective takeover.
And he disclosed that he was prepared to fight with everything he has to ensure the club’s success.
He stated, “I have only one objective: to improve this club and this team.”
“I will battle for it. I have my notions and have informed the club of what we need to do.”But I must work with my staff and athletes to improve for next season.
“At this time, I do not wish to discuss [the potential acquisition]. The objective is to conclude the season.
“We must be still while analyzing the season, delving into the details, drawing the correct conclusions, and then taking action.
