According to reports, Manchester United is armed with a secret weapon in their chase of Jude Bellingham. This information comes from the reports.

Real Madrid and Manchester City are both interested in signing the England international player, and it is commonly believed that he will depart Borussia Dortmund at the end of the current season to pursue a career elsewhere.

On the other hand, Erik ten Hag is said to be a fan of the 19-year-old player, and he responded “why not” when fans on Sunday begged him to sign the player.

Back when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was the manager of Manchester United, the club’s original intention was to make a move to acquire Bellingham during the summer transfer window of 2020.

Despite showing the young player around their Carrington training complex and introducing the youngster to the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson and Bryan Robson, they were ultimately unable to compete with Dortmund for the player’s services. Dortmund ended up winning the competition.

Even though Manchester City and Real Madrid appear to be the clubs with the upper hand in the race for Bellingham’s services, there is speculation that Manchester United could rekindle their interest in the player given how well United has performed under Ten Hag’s tutelage this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils have a’secret weapon’ in their pursuit of the England star, and that weapon is Matt Hargreaves.

A month ago, it was disclosed that Hargreaves would serve as the club’s point person for all football-related discussions and negotiations.

He comes from adidas, where Bellingham was one of the’major clients’ he served during his time there. He will now be working for Bellingham.

That might work out well for United, considering that Hargreaves will soon be in a position to assist with the negotiation of player transfers at some point in the near future.

Time will tell whether or not the Red Devils are successful in their pursuit to acquire Bellingham by the time the current campaign comes to a close.

It was reported on Sunday that Sir Jim Ratcliffe was getting close to owning the club, and this has fueled speculation that a massive acquisition is getting closer to being completed.

The Red Devils would have more money to spend, despite the fact that the Glazers would wind up remaining as a result of the arrangement.
