It has been reported that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are interested in signing forward Kai Havertz, but Havertz’s former colleague Antonio Rudiger wants Havertz to sign with Real Madrid instead of Arsenal.

The Telegraph published a report the week prior stating that Real Madrid and Arsenal are both interested in acquiring the services of Chelsea forward Kai Havertz during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea are open to the idea of selling the Germany international, but they are seeking £70 million for the 24-year-old versatile player who can play either as an attacking midfielder or a forward. Chelsea are former champions of both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.

Rudiger, a defender for Germany’s national team, previously shared the field with Arsenal target Ozil while playing for Chelsea, and he is eager for Ozil to join him in Madrid.

According to what Rudiger said about Havertz, which was quoted in AS, “It would make me happy to play with Havertz again at the club level.”

“Unfortunately, there is not a lot that I can say about it… My opinion does not matter that much with regard to transfers. They are decisions made by the club.”

Kai Havertz will be joining Real Madrid instead of Arsenal, as reported by Chelsea.

Real Madrid, in our opinion, would be a more desirable club to play for than Arsenal for Chelsea’s attacking player Kai Havertz.

La Liga and the UEFA Champions League are two of the most prestigious club competitions in the world, and Madrid is a consistent contender and winner in both competitions.

Havertz would be an excellent addition to Carlo Ancelotti’s Los Blancos squad, which is comprised of a lot of young and talented players.

It is true that Arsenal is also a very large club and a well-known brand across the world, but it is difficult to see a player passing up the opportunity to play for Real Madrid in order to sign with the Gunners.

Havertz is wanted by Chelsea for a transfer cost of 70 million British pounds; however, it is not yet certain whether Real Madrid will be willing to pay that amount.

This past season, Havertz played 35 times for Chelsea in the Premier League, including starting 30 of those games and coming off the bench five times

During those matches, the attacker was responsible for seven goals scored and one assist.
