Reports: Mikel Arteta has asked Thomas Partey to persuade £50m star to join Arsenal rather than Man United

Mikel Arteta desires to ‘hijack’ Manchester United’s pursuit of Mohammed Kudus this summer with the assistance of Thomas Partey.

Arsenal and Manchester United are each searching for a replacement midfielder. As they frequently do, they have been affiliated with many of the same players, including Ajax’s Kudus.

Ghana Soccer Net reports that Arsenal may now have an advantage in the signing of the Ghanaian.

Mikel Arteta desires Thomas Partey to persuade Mohammed Kudus to sign with Arsenal rather than Manchester United.

According to the report, Arsenal has joined Manchester United and Liverpool in their pursuit of Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus during the summer transfer window.

The Ghanaian, valued at £50 million, will almost certainly depart Ajax this summer.

“I believe a transfer is optimal for both Ajax and Mohammed at this time. Now is the right moment, according to Jennifer Mendelewitsch, Kudus’ agent, who spoke with De Telegraaf. “He rejected an offer to extend his contract through the summer of 2026.”

Now that the competition for his signature is heating up, Arsenal are reportedly looking for methods to beat Manchester United and Liverpool, and Partey could be the difference.

Thomas Partey is believed to be the man who will persuade Mohammed Kudus to join Arsenal, according to the publication.

Agent Bukayo Saka reportedly assisted the Gunners in their pursuit of Aaron Ramsdale, and now it is Partey’s turn to step up.
Thomas Partey is one of the most accomplished performers in Ghana’s history.

Kudus, age 29, is one of the emerging stars on the Black Stars national team, where he is held in high regard. A few encouraging words from the Arsenal player this summer could go a long way for him.

Kudus, who is only 22 years old, is a phenomenal youthful athlete. He has tallied 18 goals and provided six assists for Ajax this season, and he has the potential to become an elite player in the years to come.

It will be fascinating to see if Partey’s influence enables Arsenal to outbid Manchester United and the other clubs for Kudus’ signature.
