Sources: Liverpool ready to receive the midfielder’s offer as he is allowed to exit

According to Football Insider’s sources, the possibility of the great player Thiago Alcantara leaving Liverpool in the summer cannot be dismissed.

Football Insider reported on Monday (17 July) that a possible transfer for the 32-year-old player has been put on hold because Jordan Henderson and Fabinho are both expected to leave Liverpool in the near future, which will leave Jurgen Klopp’s team perilously short in midfield.

It is believed that Thiago might still be given permission to leave Anfield this summer if the circumstances are appropriate.

Because of the midfielder’s advanced age and history of injury difficulties, Football Insider has been informed by a reliable source that Liverpool are open to the possibility of allowing him to leave the club.

The Reds could find themselves in a position where they are unable to refuse the financial offers that are being made by Saudi Arabian clubs interested in the services of Thiago.

To begin the much-anticipated overhaul of their team, Liverpool, though, would need to first strengthen their midfield position by recruiting new players.

After the departures of Fabinho and Henderson have been finalized, the Merseysiders and manager Klopp are interested in adding two more midfield acquisitions, according to a report that was published on Monday (17 July) by Football Insider.

The giants were already suffering from a lack of depth in the middle of the field due to the fact that Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and James Milner had all gone at the end of their individual contracts.

During the previous campaign, Thiago participated in a total of 28 games across all competitions; however, he started in only 21 of those contests.

Since his move to Anfield in 2020, the former star player for Bayern Munich and Barcelona has had a difficult time getting into game shape.

In a little under a year, his employment agreement will no longer be valid.

It is thought that Barcelona and clubs from the high-spending Saudi Pro League are interested in acquiring Thiago for their teams.

In other news, there is a huge development on Liverpool’s pursuit of the great player from Chelsea.
