Romano adds that the medical examination and contract signature will occur shortly. From Wednesday to Tuesday. We are uncertain if the journalist means between Wednesday and Thursday, or if he means that the signing could occur at any point between now and next Tuesday.
Consequently, a transaction is close to completion. The two organizations have settled on a price. The player has consented to his contract, and now it’s just a matter of time before everything is official and confirmed.
Credit where it’s due, the club has moved promptly to close this deal, and at a price that’s extremely reasonable for a player of Onana’s caliber.
In order for Onana to embark on a preseason tour with the rest of his new teammates, it is imperative that the deal be finalized as quickly as feasible. This period of adjustment must occur in these friendlies, as the 27-year-old has a wholly different style than De Gea.
