The £40 million transfer of Fabinho to Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq could be excellent news for Harry Kane. Liverpool are currently searching for another midfielder and have identified Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich as a potential replacement.

If Liverpool sign Gravenberch, Bayern will have an additional £25 million to add to their offer for Harry Kane. In recent weeks, Tottenham has rejected both bids from the Bavarian giants, and there are concerns that they lack the financial resources to close a transaction.

It is believed that Tottenham has reached a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Kane to enable him to leave this summer, but only to non-Premier League clubs. Spurs want at least £100 million for their captain, and Bayern’s last offer of £70 million fell far shy of that price.

According to reports, PSG is also interested in the player and is doing everything possible to hijack the transaction.
RMC reports that PSG will do ‘everything possible’ to sign Kane. The club is expected to meet with the player’s representatives in London this week in an effort to convince him to play at Princes Park next season, according to the report.

Kane is believed to prefer a transfer to Bayern Munich, but the Ligue 1 champions are more likely than the German club to meet Tottenham’s asking price. However, the sale of Gravenberch may alter this.
Bayern are prepared to let the Dutchman leave in the summer, and he is the least expensive option among the four defensive midfielders Liverpool has been linked with. The others are Romeo Lavia of Southampton, Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina, and Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips.

All three players have asking prices of £45 million, while Gravenberch would cost £20 million less. The 21-year-old only joined Bayern last year after performing well for Ajax in previous seasons, but he has rapidly fallen out of favor at the Allianz Arena and made only 24 league appearances for the club last year.
