Tyrell Malacia clarifies how Casemiro has improved Manchester United since the summer transfer.

Since joining Manchester United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2017, Tyrell Malacia has been effusive in his appreciation of Casemiro for the excellent contributions he has made both on and off the field for the club.

The Brazilian central midfielder was transferred to the Reds from Los Blancos for an initial fee of £60 million, which may rise to £70 million.

Since making the move to Old Trafford, he has been quite impressive and has recently signed a deal for four years with the option of an additional year.

This season, Casemiro has appeared for Erik ten Hag’s team in a total of 41 games across all competitions. In those games, he has racked up five goals and six assists.

The 31-year-old forward, who formerly played for Real Madrid and won five Champions League trophies, became an instant favorite not only among Reds fans but also among his teammates at United.

When asked about his influence at the club, Malacia, who also joined United last summer, stated that the Brazil international had played a particularly key role in the Reds’ productive year, which included a victory in the Carabao Cup in February. Malacia’s comments were made in reference to the fact that Malacia had also joined United last summer.

“Yeah, really, really important,” Malacia stated to the club media. Casemiro has had a significant influence both on and off the field of play, most notably in the locker room and on the field itself. Therefore, it’s clear that he has a significant position.

Casemiro has not only provided United’s back four with the much-required cover they need, but he has also scored some crucial goals for Ten Hag’s side so far this season.

Although that wasn’t the primary motivation for the club’s decision to sign the defensive midfielder, the fact that he is here has not gone ignored.

When asked about the contributions his buddy makes in front of the net, Malacia said, “In attacking areas, he’s also important with goals and assists, so you can see that he’s a big player, yeah.”

As a result of receiving two red cards while playing for United, the 32-year-old has been forced to sit out seven matches in the Premier League so far this season.
