West Ham star breaks silence on his future at West Ham amid Europa Conference League win
West Ham defeated Fiorentina 2-1 thanks to a late goal from Jarrod Bowen, ending their 43-year drought for a major trophy.
In a tense final in Prague, Said Benrahma gave the Premier League team the lead with a second-half penalty kick, but Giacomo Bonaventura equalized for Fiorentina.
Bowen pounced on a superb pass from Lucas Paqueta and defeated the Fiorentina goalkeeper in stoppage time to secure a narrow victory. The match appeared to be headed for extra time before Bowen converted on the pass.

Rice may have played his final game for West Ham, as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City are all vying for his signature. However, when queried about his future after the victory, he remained tight-lipped.
The captain of the Hammers told BT Sport, “Look, there’s obviously a lot of speculation about my future right now.” ‘There is evidently interest from other organizations,’ the speaker said. However, I still have two years remaining at West Ham, and I adore this club and playing for it.
“There has been nothing thus far, so my focus is on performing for West Ham, enjoying tonight, and observing what transpires.
“I am the captain of this club, I completely adore it, and I cannot sing its praises highly enough. Let’s see what transpires.’
Rice responded, ‘Let’s wait and see, who knows?’ when asked if the Europa Conference League victory could have been the ideal send-off.
West Ham acknowledges privately that they will be compelled to sell Rice this summer to enable the England international to join a club contending for league titles and the Champions League.
Rice has attracted interest from a number of the largest clubs in Europe, but they intend to use this to drive up his price and value the 24-year-old at around £100 million.
Regarding West Ham’s performance in the tense Prague final, Rice remarked, ‘The fellas were so on it tonight. We had genuine faith.
Not only am I pleased for us, the manager, and the fans, but also for everyone who contributes to our success. I am not only pleased for myself, but also for them. I’m so, so pleased.’
Rice said of Bowen’s late game-winning goal, “When he ran through on goal, I said out loud, “This is your moment” As soon as you see the ball strike the back of the net, you are at a loss for action. Now, I’m still in disbelief. It is remarkable.
“When we arrived two hours prior, it was already filled. The admirers, observe them. This is its significance to us and to me.
“I adore this club; they have adopted me as one of their own.” I cannot express how I feel when discussing West Ham supporters. I’m just so, so pleased.’
West Ham finished only fourteenth in the Premier League and was momentarily in danger of relegation.
They conclude the season, however, having secured their Premier League status and winning a rare European trophy – the first of David Moyes’ managerial tenure.
The manager of West Ham stated, “This is fantastic.” I have had a lengthy football career, and occasions like this are rare.
“These types of occasions as a manager do not arise frequently. This is a wonderful time for us.
It is a fantastic organization in the East End of London that performs outstanding community service. This is a wonderful family organization. It is growing better and stronger. This is another stage along the path of continuous advancement.
We have remained unbeaten in Europe, which is astounding. We only lost in the semi-finals last year, and now we have another opportunity.”
When asked if West Ham’s victory in the Europa League was the greatest moment of his tenure, Moyes replied, “I would have to say so.”
It’s not often that you get to celebrate with your family and win in the final minute of the game. Even if it goes against you, tonight is a fantastic sensation.
