Declan Rice was videotaped assuring a young fan that he is not leaving West Ham amid rumors the midfielder will depart this summer.

Rice, 24 years old, recently led the Hammers to victory in the Europa Conference League, but he is entering the final year of his contract and is anticipated to leave the club.

Arsenal, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich have been linked to the England international who is valued at £90 million.
But in a viral social media footage, a young fan questioned Rice on his next move.

When asked which club he intends to join, Rice responded, “West Ham.”
When asked to choose a team, he replied, “Nope, West Ham is my team.”

Apparently, the video footage was shot on Saturday.
In the aftermath of West Ham’s 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in Prague to claim their first European trophy since 1965, club chairman David Sullivan confirmed Rice’s departure.

It occurred after Mail Sport reported Arsenal’s desire to swiftly close a £90 million deal despite competition from Manchester United and German champions Bayern Munich.

Sullivan stated on talkSPORT, “I believe it will be his last game for the club.” We assured him he could leave. He was intent on leaving.

You cannot find a man who has been more committed to us this season. Eventually, he must depart, and we must find a replacement or several replacements.

It is not something we wish to occur. We made him an offer of £200,000 per week 18 months ago. He declined the offer.

It has cost him £10 million in lost earnings to remain at West Ham during this time. And he wishes to leave. You cannot retain an unwilling participant.
Arsenal has led the pursuit for Rice’s signature, and it is believed that he would prefer to remain in England rather than transfer abroad.

‘I believe offers will begin to arrive today,’ Sullivan added. “Three or four clubs have expressed interest, but out of respect for West Ham, you do not make offers for players while we are still playing.”

That is not how respectable organizations operate.

Rice had also declined to discuss his potential summer transfer immediately following the conclusion of the final.

“It’s flattering to be desired by so many clubs, but the West Ham badge is on my chest tonight,” Rice said.

I have two years remaining on my contract, but the ultimate decision rests with those in charge. Until the day I leave this organization, I will sacrifice everything and wear my heart on my sleeve for this badge.’
