Real Madrid Star implies at massive Arsenal summer transfer as Ancelotti confirms the exit

A move to Arsenal has been rumored to take place in the coming weeks, and Real Madrid star Toni Kroos has alluded to the possibility that Marco Asensio may leave the club this summer.

The Spanish player is getting towards the final few months of his deal with Los Blancos, which leaves open the door for him to begin a new chapter somewhere else.

The Gunners have been strongly connected as one of the clubs watching a transition, and the team is currently trying to add to their roster in preparation for the upcoming season.

This summer, Mikel Arteta has a number of different areas that need to be addressed, and one of the primary spots the team will focus on improving is the midfield.

According to rumours originating in Germany, Granit Xhaka won’t leave the north London outfit until a successor is secured.

Thesoccerstand has it on good authority that Declan Rice is a high priority for the coming weeks ahead. Because of this, a variety of additional possibilities might be considered for the summer window.

One of them is Asensio, with sources saying that the midfielder has turned down a new contract offer from Real Madrid, thereby “confirming” that he will be leaving the club in the summer.

Kroos may have just given the strongest clue yet regarding a potential transfer, with Arsenal among a host of other clubs that have been linked with a move.

The experienced midfielder stated the following when speaking to Total Real, as reported by the Mirror: “To be honest, it’s tough to say what will happen with Nacho, [Dani] Ceballos, and Asensio.

I have a hunch that Marco won’t stick around, although this is based more on stories from the outside than on my own personal experience.

Regarding Nacho and Dani, I have no idea what’s going on. But I get the impression that… If they remained, that would make me pleased.”

It is still unknown whether the 27-year-old player who is about to become a free agent would be a realistic target for Arteta to pursue in order to bolster his roster for the following year.

However, it is abundantly evident that additional strength in depth is required with the addition of another title drive as well as the return of football in the Champions League.
